After 22 years on the road it's a wonder the HARD-ONS are still alive, let alone releasing their 10th, and arguably, best album, 'Most People Are a Waste of Time'.
Once described as "Motörhead meets the Beach Boys" the HARD-ONS were originally inspired by punk bands such as Sex Pistols, The Buzzcocks, The Damned, Ramones and The Saints. The HARD-ONS have carved a notch into the world of punk rock and have assembled a worldwide cult following. They are also said to be Australia's most successful independent band ever, with 250,000 records sold worldwide and 17 consecutive number one hits on the Australian alternative charts.
On 'Most People Are a Waste of Time', the HARD-ONS sound tighter than ever. It's their first decidedly "pop" album and it's littered with tracks that, while riding on the band's usual breakers of noise, are sweet enough to be played on the radio.
